Day 1 : AVIGNON / ST REMY DE PROVENCE

Arrival on your own in Avignon TGV station or Marseille Airport in the morning Our staff will be there and welcome you – Your luggage will be carried directly to your hotel for overnight stay. Transfer to Avignon downtown in private Deluxe Coach. Typical lunch in Le Different restaurant in the old city. Avignon city tour by foot, with official English speaking guide during 2h00 then transfer by private minibus toward rental station to pick up your vehicle. You will fill the rental contract and have a briefing regarding the cars, with French laws and way to drive in South of France!

Day 2 : ST REMY DE PROVENCE / GORDES

Little roads to reach an Olive oil mill, the “Moulin de Castellas” with a special owner’s welcome – Then proceed to « Les Baux de Provence » for a private tour, including the castle with an official English speaking guide. Some leisure time given to stroll the small streets – Fantastic views of the Alpilles mountains and the Camargue plain!
Lunch will be taken in a fine restaurant then an afternoon trip on a very scenic road will bring you to Gordes, one of the “most beautiful villages of France”. Accommodation in your hotel. Dinner in this lovely village and overnight stay. You will have the choice between two hotels we have selected for you.

Day 3 : GORDES / LE MONT VENTOUX / GORDES

An impressive day and superb roads are your program today :
Road to Vaison La Romaine (Visit of the antique roman town with a local guide) then you will climb on a fantastic twisting road with marvellous landscapes and reach the top of the Mt Ventoux (1911m – 5650 feet), called “Provence’s giant” were you will find a very rare and world protected forest. Then arrival in Bedoin and proceed to Crillon le Brave for lunch. Afterwards, proceed to impressive Gorges de la Nesque to reach Sault village, a region of lavender, with a tasting at a “Nougat” factory. Then in late afternoon, your road will pass through hills on very scenic roads and you will visit Senanque Abbey before returning to Gordes for your second night in the same hotel.

Day 4 : GORDES / AVIGNON

Today will be an epicurean feast for you! A lovely road that will bring you to the Haute Provence state, between the Lure and Luberon mountains. You will discover the famous “Pastis” drink followed by a typical meal near Forcalquier. You will return in the afternoon, after a very scenic road through the Luberon Valley to Avignon suburbs area to return your vehicles at the rental stations. Transfer in deluxe coach to Avignon, the Côtes du Rhône wines Capital. Farewell gastronomic dinner and overnight stay in Avignon.

Day 5 : Departure

Breakfast in your hotel. Transfer to the TGV station or to the Marseille Marignane Airport.
